LIZ HINLEIN
BIOGRAPHY

Liz is well known for her innovative beauty work for clients such as Clairol, Revlon, Almay and Maybelline. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Liz co-founded filmmaking collaborative az_iz, to create image films for style-oriented clients such as M.A.C. Cosmetics and NARS Cosmetics.

These early experimental and image films led to a M.A.C. funded public service announcement featuring Mary J. Blige and Lil' Kim, which in turn led to Liz directing Blige's South African concert tour documentary, Proud Mary. This intimate and candid work led on to her directing Britney Comes Home, a 2001 FOX Television special of Britney Spears' Southern States Tour. Along the way Liz garnered the dubious honour of being the first woman to direct episodes of the TV series America's Most Wanted.

An accomplished writer as well as filmmaker, Liz has a dramatic television series set at the film school of her alma mater currently in development.
